12 Dimension Critical Reflaction

Part 1:

I choose four dimensions which are Destiny, Expression, Outlook and Communication, so the destiny dimension is about Directed and Directive polarities and about how that the person see himself that if he is guided or he will create his own destiny. The expression dimension is about revel and conceal polarities, Revel is about revel thoughts and feelings verbally or non-verbally and conceal is the opposite. Outlook dimension is about what people focused on, if they are talk about history of the family so it’s the tradition polarities, and if they are future focused so they are innovation. The last dimension is communication which has two styles; the first one is to be more direct speaker and the opposite which is in direct which is about focus to avoid difficult of contentious issues.

Part 2:

The report was very useful way for me to know more about myself, it shows that i am more directive person in choosing my destiny, I totally agree with the result because in my life I tend to choose my own choices and I feel that always in control. The report shows that I am not that much conceal in my expression. I totally agree because some times in I try to conceal my feelings, and In some situation I tend to revel them. The report also shows that I am more innovation in my outlook, I think that I try to focus on the future more and live the moment not to talk about the past.  The report shows also that I am indirect communicator; I totally agree that I try my best to avoid difficult or contentious issues.

Part 3:

I think the report results will be different in next 5 years, because I believe that the human being learn every day new things especially in the university and his own life. Also for example when the person is moving from high school to the university he will learn new things which will change his personality, and give him new behavior and develop himself to deal with life situation and his work place. Of course I will take the same test again to see how my result would be different because when person is moving from stage to stage it will make huge difference in his life.

 As any exchange student, he has a lot of experiences trying new food. His first encounter is with an iced drink. What happens?

 

He got sick.

 

Todd wants to check in to a hotel. But Puro insists he comes to a boarding house. What is the reason he gives Todd?

 

Because he will feel lonely.

                                                       

As soon as they meet, Aunti Ji starts asking very intimate questions that Americans who have just met would never ask. What kind of things does she ask?

 

She ask him about his personal life and about his salary and if he was married.

 Amish are not like English people because they act different and they have there own culture. each one of them represented his cultures the English people changed their life and with the revelation of technology but the Amish people don't want to change their life and adapted with this reevaluation, they are still attached and they don't want to adapt to the new developing of life.thy don’t use cars instead they use horses and there are a lot more technologies they refuse to use. UAE culture has been changed and adapt with the new life and technology. It accepts new culture or different cultures. They don't mind reveling their cultures and traditions to other cultures and they're proud of it.

 Where is the conflict AND Who is involved (views)??
The conflict was in Marina mall Abu Dhabi, between European women and Arabic man.

      What is the conflict?  What is the basis/ the cause of the problem?
    The conflict was that the European women was wearing unappreciated clothes and and the Arabic man was yelling on her.


      What is/ are the cultural View(s) (I/G; H/S; P/F) behind the conflict?
Power/Fear
Honor/Shame


      What is the best solution to the problem?
   To talk nice to her and say that is not appreciated to wear this cloths in the mall

1- Ms.Evelyn: she abel to adept by finding a job in the central call
2- Mrs.Harder.aitle: They abel to adepte by changing her room and live in the manager room because
her room with out door.
3- Ms.Donelly :anabel to adepte and she want to go back to UK because she didn't feel comfortable with the life style.

4- Ms.Graham:He abel to adept and he play cricket with boys and he feel happy.
5- Mrs.Asnilis: I think she didn't adepte because she stayed in the hotel but she should go out the hotel to communicate with society.

Excercise #1

In my opinion, bullfighting is very dangerous and it's not so fun because the people who participate in may be hurt, causally the festivals and celebration give the people good feeling but when you get heart or you see someone hurting himself you will not feel good about it.
